Message 10, dated 25 Feb ((possibly 71)), from Thanh ((see Item 2 above)) to E21 ((possibly aka the 21st Main Force Regt, VC Military Region 5)), congratulates the 21st ((Main Force)) Regt for combat achievements gained by the 9th Co during the attack on the Phong Dang position, and by D5(-) ((possibly aka the 5th Bn, 21st Main Force Regt, VC Military Region 5)) during a daylight attack on the enemy ((FWMAF/RVNAF)) position at Dong Ngô Pass and the destruction of a Popular Force inter-platoon during Phase 2 of the Hill Campaign. To achieve greater victories, E21 was instructed to ((1)) find a relatively safe area for D5(-) and the 10th and 9th Co's of D6 ((possibly aka the 6th Bn, 21st Main Force Regt)) to refit;B ((2)) prepare battlefields for these two battalions; B ((3)) employ D4(-) ((possibly aka the 4th Bn, 21st Main Force Regt)), one company of D5, one company of D6, and the 23rd ((Specialized)) Co on combat missions during the refitting period of D5 and D6.
