Directive, dated 38 ((sic)) May 70, signed by Tran Minh Tan for the Current Affairs Committee, ((VC Duc Tu District Party Committee, Sub-Region 4, VC Region 7)), addressed to subordinate villages and agencies, pertains to the activation of an emulation section to promote the defeat of the pacification program and the Vietnamization plan. An emulation council was to be activated by Sub-Region ((4)) and an emulation section was to be activated by ((VC Die Tu)) District with the following personnel as members of the Standing Committee: Hai Tan, in charge of the affairs of the Party; Tam Hue, in charge of ((VC)), government; Nam Trung, in charge of civilian proselyting; Hai Kinh, in charge of military affairs; Ba Son, in charge of propaganda and training; and Ba Hiệp, in charge of the Administrative Section.
