Personal history statement, dated 1970, prepared by Dinh Manh Hien, reveals that Hien was born on 17 Jul 40 in Que' Lam Hamlet, Minh Hoàng Village, Phù Cư District, Hưng Yên Province, VN. He was admitted to the Party as a probationary member on 26 Dec 60, enlisted in 1965, and began infiltrating SVN in Jul 65. Hien was WIA in Apr 66 and was reassigned to the Provisions Section of Mo Dié District in 1967.
