ARVN Units included: -8th Airborne Battalion, at Ba Hom Post, Tan Tao, Binh Tri Dong and An Lae Strategic Hamlets; 2nd Airborne Battalion, at Tan Thoi, Tan Son Nhi, Go May and Go Xoni hamlets in Binh Hung Hoa Village. 3rd Airborne Battalion, at Tan Tu, Tan Nhat, and Tan Kien Strategic Hamlets; -Three Companies and two Platoons were stationed in Ton Qui, Ba Queo, Tan phu, and Phu Tho, on the outskirts of the capital military region. The document further reveals the location of Civilian Guards, National Police Field Forces, and one Special Forces Platoon in Phu Tho area, the hamlets of Binh Chanh village, and at Tan Qui, and that South Korean Soldiers were staking out terrain at Tan Tao for future construction. The report predicted that sweep operations are imminent, because an intelligence source indicates that a meeting was held by the Capital Military Region HQ's, on 29 Dec 66.
