He enlisted in C1-D4-E36-F308 (possibly 1st Company, 4th Battalion, 36th Regiment, 308th NVA Division) on 20 Feb 61; was discharged from the army in Apr 65, and re-enlisted in C1-D5-E250E (possibly 1st Company, 5th Battalion, 250B NVA Regiment) on 13 Sep 65. He began infiltrating SVN on 28 Dec 65, and was a on 28 Feb 67.
