Letter, dated 20 Apr 68, from Dinh to Thong, informs him that Unit 314 had moved to B3 ((Front)), and BOK ((poss cadre of 314th Bn)) had reported to H67. Therefore, Diem and the writer did not meet the cited unit to discuss an upcoming combat plan. Binh requests permission to go to 408 ((poss 408th Sapper Bn)), and suggests that if 90 ((poss K90 Co, 408th Sapper Bn)) is attached to ((Pleiku)) City Unit, it is advisable to integrate 90 to the City Unit because this Co had only 35 men left. Binh also recommends that Dung be appointed Co CO, Ba and Kuan of 90, and Xuan, Co XO. In addition, Dinh reveals that C90 had five men undergoing treatment, including one Co CO, and one Asst Polit Off. The total equipment and weapons on hand in the unit included 100kg of explosives, 20 AK, two K54, five B40 with 30 rd, 30 AT grenades, 40 offensive/defensive hand grenades, eight Chicom stick-type defensive hand grenades, 240 detonators, 240 primers, 20m of time fuse, three wire cutters, one pair of binoculars, one compass, and five picks.
