The objectives were to destroy the Allied potential in Ky My Village Tam Ky District Quang Tin Province, and to coordinate with VC main force attacking Hip Bube District, Quang Tin Province. Units participating: d72 72d Local Bn, Quang Tin Province, c12/12th Local Co, and village guerrillas. Tactics were encirclement, deep penetration, and isolation. VC casualties: 17 KIA and 13 WI.
