Letters, one dated 21 December 1968, addressed by Chuong to his younger sisters N and Thuy. In a letter ((Item 1)) possibly written prior to 2 September 1968, Chuong inquires about the devastation resulting from ((possibly B-52)) strikes on addressees' pharmaceutical unit and ((Unit)) 80B. ((possibly Replacement Training Battalion, HQSVNLA)) It was believed that these units suffered no personnel casualties but heavy material losses. The writer adds that during the continous ((B-52)) strikes on the addressees' area, all members of his unit located "on the other side" ((possibly meanning in Cambodian territory)) also took refuge in shelters, because the bomb explosions sounded so near. In a letter ((Item 2)), Chuong discloses that he was working hard due to the 700 patients undergoing treatment. He then reminds Nu about her prospective date of admission to the Party as an official Party member on 13 September, ((possibly 1968)).
