Directive 01/CT, dated 4 Jul 70, signed by Hoang Tin, Secretary of the Party Committee of E, aka Group H22A ((possibly 74th NVA Artillery Regiment, VC Military Region 7)), instructs all subordinate units to initiate a movement for the retrieval of ((FMAF/RVNAF)) dud bombs, weapons, and equipment ((left behind on the battlefield)). This movement had been prescribed by Directive 12 of COSVN and Directive 6/TK of ((VC)) Military Region (7)) Headquarters. The movement was composed of two phases, phase 1 from 1 Jul to 2 Sép 70 and phase 2 from 2 Sep to 22 Dec 70. Every unit from regiment to company level would establish a committee in charge of motivating all personnel of the unit to double their efforts in the search for enemy weapons and equipment.
