Note, dated 11 Apr 68, signed by Dien, Chief of Rear Service Section of E poss 803d Regt, contains a circular which reveals that beginning 14 Apr 68 all personnel of subordinate units of "E" were ordered to eat two cans of 250g each of rice per day, and to eat manioc and sweet potatoes as supplementary food if available.
